The Opportunity

A world leader in POWER TRANSMISSION and DRIVE technology including; industrial rotating, material movement equipment and components continues to expand their influence in Alberta and Saskatchewan. This concentrated growth strategy has created another great opportunity for a POWER TRANSMISSION Sales Professional located in Edmonton covering Alberta and Saskatchewan. You will have diverse application opportunities across a broad range of industries including, Oil and Gas, Municipal, Food and Beverage, Pharmaceutical etc. You will have a great time working for a supportive manager, at a progressive company with one of the best product lines available in the market. You will be treated as the dynamic, self motivated SALES professional that your practice and track record warrants. You will focus on solutions, selling to deal with End User and Original Equipment Manufacturers technical challenges, daily.
Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

    Build, manage, and enhance relationships with customers in Alberta and Saskatchewan:
    Drive and achieve sales and profit goals
    Soliciting and developing new opportunities. in your region to drive sales growth, Distribution, OEM and End User-Channel partners
    Selling POWER TRANSMISSION and DRIVE solutions to broad Industrial base, including projects.
    continuing networking and meetings with the influencers and decision makers.
    Be the educational lead for clients including ?lunch and learns', trade shows, and providing supporting technical information.
    Providing excellence in customer service.
    Social media strategies, joint and individual on-site sales calls and relationship building activities.
    Actively communicate with team members, vendors, and suppliers to:
    Support product selection application and quotes.
    supervise engineered bid proposals, including follow-up.
    Provide product and package technical support.
    Develop a business plan, sales forecasts, and support marketing strategies.
    Working from a home office.

Required expertise and Qualifications

    Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or significant POWER TRANSMISSION and DRIVE practice.
    Demonstrated success of a minimum of 3 years selling power transmission, pumps, gearing, conveyor technology, bearings, couplings, drive components, and/or other mechanical process equipment sales with a technical expertise base
    Demonstrated sales success in Alberta and Saskatchewan
    Strong expertise of a broad range of applications in HVAC, Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, Mining, Food and Beverage, Municipal and Pharmaceutical industries.
    Proven capability to be proactive and highly motivated, working with a dynamic team.
    Effective written and oral communication expertise, strong listening and clarification expertise.
    Well-developed capability to make prosperous sales presentations at all levels of the clients'.
    Strong business, strategic planning, and account management expertise.
    Focus on excellence in client service.
    Great negotiation expertise.
    Analytical expertise to break down complex issues and solve problems.
    Driven to succeed, with a positive attitude!
    capability to teach and lead others is necessary.
Compensation and Benefits

    A base income of $70,000 – $90,000 per year or more depending on practice.
    An uncapped bonus that should be an additional 30% or more.
    Excellent and comprehensive benefit package with RSP matching.
