What is a Customer Support adjunct? &nb sp; & nbsp;   ; &nb sp; & nbsp;   ; &nb sp; & nbsp;
this function is within the Customer practice team, which works directly with the company’s contact center, operations, and billing departments. The Customer Support adjunct works broadly within recently implemented SAP meter to cash Customer Information System (CIS). The Customer Support adjunct will perform customer support office and clerical work while exercising good judgment and responsibility when performing such.
What does a Customer Support adjunct do?
» Communication with other corporate personnel and/or external customers; responding to customer correspondence in various channels excluding incoming phone calls
» Work lists of orders that may involve billing issues or service issues; review and correction of business process exceptions, error listings and other edit reports including making billing adjustments as necessary
» Confirm, analyze, summarize and transcribe information and data from various sources
» Prepare and maintain digital and/or paper files, reports and system records and databases
» Operate office machines and equipment including, but not limited to, copy machine, scanner, fax machine, computers, telephone equipment and calculators; solicit and receive customer information
» Perform all other office tasks as assigned; capable of performing all of the general customer support tasks and be familiar with all of the procedures of the office and the business process to which the employee is assigned to support
» Employee may be utilized to execute work during emergencies including interacting with customers in all customer channels to support company in covering issues impacting safe and reliable service
What does it take to be a Customer Support adjunct?
» Evidence of prosperous completion of the requirements for graduation from High School or an Equivalency Diploma
» Must have proficient computer expertise
» Good telephone manner, capability to work well with others and the capability to meet the public in a courteous and businesslike manner
» Must satisfactorily pass a general capability examination and personal appraisal
» Evidence of physical fitness shall be required and at the Company's option must be demonstrated by medical examination by a doctor selected by the Company
» Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
» Prior customer service practice
» Prior billing practice
