adjunct Director of NursingOur client in the Town of Wallkill has an immediate opening for a full-time adjunct Director of Nursing. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of nursing service objectives, standards of nursing practice, and day to day operations of the nursing department.
What you will be doing:
» Planning, directing and controlling services in conformity and compliance with Federal and State regulations
» Coordinating and directing nursing staff to ensure nursing needs of residents are met
» Supervising nursing staff to ensure medications, nursing care, diet and discharge plan has been set in place for each resident
What you need to succeed:
» Minimum of four years of Nursing management practice in a health care setting
» Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree preferred
» NYS Registered Nurse license
» Geriatric practice or additional education in nursing service administration
This is a full time schedule; Candidate needs to be flexible for facility with weekends if needed and holidays if needed.
